i'm trying to install "The sims complete collection" and everytime i put the disc 1 in this little pop up thing come up saying ikernel.exe could not open and could not find the file needed. i have no idea what that is or how to get it to go away so i can play my game!!! HELP!!!

ikernal.exe is the install sheild program for Windows.
If you are completely baffled by computer terms, you might give one of these places a call:
Game manufacturer - should be a tech service number in the package.
Computer manufacturer - most manufacturers have FAQ's and troubleshooting guides to help you find a solution
A local computer whiz - could be something like GeekSquad, or even a small computer sales/repair company.
