Yes. My sister is a corrections officer in Tennessee. She had a felony on her record, it cost some $ but she had it exspunged. Dont know if I spelled that right.

I don't think there is such thing as a "low" felony... when they do your background check all they'll see is felony conviction and that will probably count you out for being a corrections officer. However, if you are applying for a job, perhaps you should contact the hiring official, tell them your situation and see what they have to say.

You must expunge. There is really no such thing as a "low" felony. You can't vote, right? Why would they allow you to work in a prison?

Probably, you need a very good reference and ask the government for a pardon.
