I keep having a dream that I am at my fathers funeral ( he died about 7 weeks ago) I'm standing at the back of the service w/ him and my brother holding his hand and there are hundreds of people there. The only words he has said is when I asked is it really that pretty {meaning heaven} and he said yes. What is this dream trying to show or tell me?

I think the dream suggests that you have had some difficulty with your father's dying, and you needn't. Heaven is pretty; Dad is fine. Sleep well now, because he certainly is.
BTW, my sympathies. My dad died just a couple of weeks ago. I miss him, but I know he's OK.

Here's the thing. If you wake up and you have a feeling like this dream is important. And the feeling stays with you for awhile, then you are right it has meaning. I assume since you asked this question that you had such a feeling.
The dream probably suggests that your father is around you. He wants you to know he is in a good place and he is still here for you. People who have passed on often come to us in our dreams. This sounds like a calm supportive dream and that is probably the message he is conveying (calm and supportive). Don't over think it. Whatever your intution is teling you, that is the answer. this appears to be a "visitation" dream
your father is letting you know that he is more than happy in his beautiful new surroundings....
I am thinking, that on some level, your father is acknowledging the fact that is it hard for you to let go of him, and there is certainly no need to, especially at this time.. he seems to be communication with you through your dreams, and isn't it wonderful! pay attention to each and every one...... the hundreds of people in the dream could represent the communion or companionship that we will all share with others, on this side, and when we get to the other side.....

People who have passed over tend to reach out to us in our dreams because we will be more open to them appearing to us and will not be afraid.
Your Dad is trying to ease your transition with his passing. He realizes that both you and your Brother are having great difficulty with his passing and he wants to reassure you that he is indeed alright and is happy where he is.

Im sorry but I do not believe this dream is trying to convey a message to you. I believe that there are just some not so good spirits messing with your head while you are sleeping. Always know that the dead (im sorry to say) have no contact with you whatsoever. There is unbreakable barrier between the living and the dead.
