England is one country in a confederation known as Great Britain, which also includes Scotland and Wales. The United Kingdom includes both Great Britain and whatever is left of the British Empire around the world. I don't include North Ireland as part of Great Britain because I consider that area to be British-occupied Ireland.

The British Isles are comprised of the two large islands of Great Britain and Ireland, plus a large number of smaller islands.

Great Britain is the name given to the largest island, which is comprised of England, Scotland, and Wales. The name "Great Britain" was first used in 1604, after James VI of Scotland succeeded to the English throne, following the death of Queen Elizabeth I. You may recall that the King James Bible was named after this King.

Great Britain was formally adopted as the country's name in 1707.

In 1801, Ireland was similarly joined to Great Britain by the Act of Union, after which the official title became:

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.

After 26 Irish counties withdrew from the union in 1922, the country's name was changed to:

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

England is a country.
United Kingdom is a partnership of countries (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland - maybe that last one isn't a separate nation) that function as one government to the rest of the world.

I don't know if Great Britain is a separate entity. I tend to think of it as the same thing as the UK. But maybe it doesn't include N. Ireland. Maybe it is just the countries actually found on the island of Britain.
