Only god can give the true answer.

I don't think that he just alows bad things to happen. I think that he allows people to carve out their own destiny. He allows some people to do bad things which may affect others in bad ways. Maybe the reaction is what allows those people into heaven. The same with natural disasters. Maybe it is the reaction of the involved people that determine their destiny.

I don't really know, I just try to do the best I can. If more things happen, I try to adjust. I used to think that God would never give you more than your plate could handle. Now I believe he keeps giving you a larger plate. Only god know for sure.

God does not simply let bad things happen to the world, we do... we have free will.. and that is what causes us to do certain things for instance kill someone... this is only the time of learning for us... If it was a perfect world, it would be Heaven. God wants us to learn by our mistakes and by other peoples, too and thats what make us become a better person.

Most people are going to argue for free will but the Bible teaches that free will is a bunch of baloney. Only false religions teach people that humans have free will.

Every day of your life was written in his book before you were born. Every hair on your head was counted. To the uninitiated this is predestination.

God already knows who's going to go to hell and who's going to choose Christ and go to heaven. It's only mankind's false ego that warps many into believing that we have free will. Your life has been predetermined. It was done before you were born.

There is nothing you can do to change the course of human events or even your own life. You're sense of being able to make decisions is merely a misperception that God didn't already know you were going to turn right instead of left or whatever the case may be.

You can only come to heaven through Christ and you can only come to Christ through the Holy Spirit. You can't choose Christ but you can (albeit a misperception) deny Christ. But God already knows what you're going to do. He knows what you're thinking right now. He knew what I would type before I did. Just as he knows whether this next breath will be my final or whether what I'm working on will impact your life in the way I hope it will.

Last week a friend of the family had a 16 year old daughter die. Just so you know, she died of a heart attack. I could swear I saw her chest moving at the funeral home during visitation.

God has a reason he took her life when he did. It could be because he wanted that family to cling to Christ alone. It could be because he wanted the teenagers who've never been to church to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ preached at that funeral service. It could be so that I continued down the path or changed directions out of my false sense of my own ego. It could be so that you would hear this story and see the real meaning in your life and move booldy toward it.

Just like a hurricane or anything else. We sometimes see it as tragedy when it's all part of God's perfect plan but that through our own limitations we fail to see the perfection in that perfect plan.

There will be many who dismiss all I've said. There course has already been plotted and God knows the arguements they will make against him. Many are called but few are chosen.

Two things:

1. As mentioned by the other people who answered, free will. As they say free will is one of God's greatest gifts. God I believe wants us to exercise and experience free will through the bad things that happen around us. Because with bad things we can exercise our free will in so many ways, we can contribute to the bad thing, we can verbally protest, more than protesting we can do something to stop it, we can remain neutral, we can pretend we didn't see anything, this is just to name a few.

2. Second, in connection to free will, God wants to see who will use their free will for good. If a person is being unjustly oppressed, God wants to see who will protest, who will try to stop it, who will aggravate the situation and who will pretend nothing is happening. From there He will gauge who has learned and lived his/her life well.

Yes! As "Here and Now" says, we have free will. Some of the greatest outcomes in life come from overcoming adversity!! This builds character, empathy for others, strength to face any adversary AND direction in life!! If God had left us in the Garden of Eden, we'd be spoiled selfish people expecting everything to be given to us!! I can't begin to answer the Holocaust, Dafar sp?, killings etc.--all too common in the world! But generally, God gives us the strength to OVERCOME!! AND to HELP each other to overcome!! We're in this together, so let's help each other to the best of our ability! LOVE! And PERSEVERE!

PPL keep asking this question over & over again! It is like the ppl who keep comming to my house looking for every other # in the complex, when my #20 is clearly visible!
God lets bad things happen, because we are the cause of the bad things & He wants us to realize it!He wants us to turn to Him & learn His ways & truly be free.
Freedom is not doing as you please, but doing as God pleases.
True freedom is being guilt free, because you are doing right in the world & not following the enemy.
Satan wants us to blame God & turn from Him.All good things come from God.The rest is Satan, working through mankind.

I love this question.........especially when considering we are all "God." We created this place along with the illusion of the relative so that we might experience another lesson for the soul. Where we came from it was literally 'all good.' We're here to evolve according to your soul's plan. You have a number of people that came over with you to help you with this and serve different roles. Some chose roles that in this dimension are viewed as less favorable than others. They are.....as the Buddah says.......our teachers. Enjoy!!

The second coming is backwards. Only the innocent die and everyday there is hope, because without Hope there is no future. No signs or miracles. It is up to You to have FAITH! Satan is your savior (Temptation), passes Judgment onto god. So deceptive he will sometimes turn back to his original origin “An Angel of Light”.
Fear God... WHY?
Because when God showed signs & miracles, ”The Left Behind” created Religion. They said if you don’t go to church and pay us MONEY that you will go to hell. The church out of greed made its people go out and recruit new members for their religion and insist there religion is the right one. RELIGION has caused most Wars, Hatred, and Deaths!

because 1 bad event can either lead up to another or it can become a catalyst to something beneficial. Bad things can be good things in the long run.
