sounds weird but blues and blueish tones are best for brown eyes. i'm not talking bright *** 80's neon blue but a periwinkle with a dark brown in the crease and a shimmery white to highlight under your eyebrow will bring out your eyes. Companies like urban decay and cover girl. sell compacts that have colors in 3 or 4's that specifically geared towards bringing out your eye color. don't really listen to the purple thing... unless it's a blueish purple like a soft violet not bold it won't really bring it out much they tend to look funny on a lot of people and they are better suited for bringing out green eyes.

Use pink eyeshadow with a dark purple or plum eyeliner. I had a make up artist at Macy's tell me the secret colors to bringing out any eye color. Don't go for brown or black eyeshadow's or eyeliner's, they just blend in. You'd want to use lighter eyeshadow but avoid Beige, Grey, or White. Use crusty colors like Plum, Purple, or Violet for the lid of the eye so it makes the eye look bigger and bolder. Good luck.

I have brown eyes and I love eyeshadows that are shades of plum or green. They really help to make the color of your eyes stand out more.

My Mum works for Elizabeth Arden and has done numerous training in cosmetic techniques and she always told me that purple tones bring out your eye colour. So you could try eyeliners, eyeshadows and mascaras that are different variants of purple. Hope this helps.

depending on how dark a brown your eyes are.. i know a lot of my frinns have brown eyes. i know alot about make-up and hair and stuff bc i love dealing with that.. when i graduate i am going to collage to be a cosmetologist. now with brown eyes like i said depending on the shade.. use mainly colors in the areas of the purples and blues and greens it will do you justice.. although mabye you could try using lighter shades of like brown and tan bc that works well too.

i have brown eyes too.. i find that bronze colors bring out my eyes more.. greens look beautiful as well.. and some light pinks also... i would try a bronze with a bit of beige... a light amount of black eyeliner on the bottom lid and top.. curl your eyelashes and a bit of mascara and it will bring your eyes out!

while attempting to deliver out the colour of your eyes, you need to use the colour opposite it on the colour wheel. For blue eyes that's brown. I truthfully have brown eyes, and blue/eco-friendly eyeshadow brings them out the main. have exciting!

purple& darker colors are supposed to POP brown eyes! ALMAY makeup has eye make-up for diff. colored eyes! Meijer(If you have one) will have it. Wal-Mart proally will too! ALMAY is cheap but theyre eye make up is good! Check it out!
