A week ago I week ago I went to the Dr. for a sinus infection that turned into a terrible ear infection. Within 24 hours the pressure of the ear infection became bareable and the pressure since has continued to weaken. I'm now having problems getting the fluid to drain out of my ear. I've tried cotton balls, heat, comress, candle, drops... It's driving me crazy!! Throughout the day I hear it sloshing around in my ear, I just want it to stop! Please post any suggestion that I haven't already mentioned, Thanks in advance!!

Every year for the past 20 plus years I have gotton sinus/ear infections (usually in January) and I have fluid in my ears until spring time. It drives me crazy but the Doctors do not care. It causes no medical problems, providing the infection is gone, if not infections can eat the little bones in your ear and cause deafness. By all means let your Doctor know, but do not be surprised when they show no concern whatsoever! Be sure and continue your anti-biotics until they are gone and continue taking decongestants.

Good luck!

Call your Doctor and let him / her know what's going on.
