I've never heard of a problem like yours. Why on earth would you delete the songs from your computer? And if they are in your itunes library they are on your computer SOMEWHERE. Probably on your c disk in programfiles/itunes. Take a gander and see if you can find where the files are. Then when you restore itunes or whatever you'll be able to find them and add them back.? Umm..yeah hope this helps.

That;s confusing. Make sure that your iPod is not to update automatically from th iTunes library. Hopefully that should work. Also I suggest that next time your friend sends you a song that you keep it just incase.
Good Luck!

import the song. then when the song is uploaded, drag and drop the song into your iPod which should be under devices. if that doesn't work, make sure your iPod is not set to sync.
i hope everything works out for you.
