It might be a migraine headache, I only got them when I was pregnant with my son, never before and never after.

I had horrible headaches that lasted for a week straight during this pregnancy. i went to my doctor and I had a sinus infection. I also have a history of migraines, so the doctor gave me a prescription for fiorocept (sp?). It is safe to use in the second trimester. try caffeine (just a little), steam showers, and take tylenol religiously. It will go away. But get checked out in case it's an infection.

The type of headache you are describing could be a migraine. I get them seasonally (when the seasons change) and most of the time it feels pretty much in an eyesocket. I don't know what to take if you are pregnant; you might not have many options. I'd call your doctor and try to get more information.

I went thru a pregnancy many years ago with continual headaches. Within the last 2 years, a friend suggested that, due to migraines, I look up celiac disease---gluten allergy. Are you on vitamins and do they have a gluten base? Add that to all the wheat products that might be in your diet and you may be sensitive.

Headaches are pretty common around the end of the first trimester/beginning of the second trimester. However, for one to last this long is pretty unusual. I would see your doctor and make sure you don't have a sinus infection.

sounds normal to me. i had a headache at the beginning of my second trimester that I never thought would end. it would last for days and days go away only to come back. that went on for a few weeks and they eased up.

These are things you go through when you are pregnant. Try drinking some hot tea and a warm bath that should relax you.

your whole body changes during pregnancy. Your sinuses get stuffier and you have vascular [circulation] changes. This could be so many things you should call your Dr's office.
