I was a RT in the 7th grade and this year in the 8th grade, I was also a RT. But, next year i'm thinking of being a FB. Any advice????

I'm 5'10 and I weigh 166 lbs.
Also my max on bench is 135 lbs. and my max on squat is 250.

My suggestion is to hit the weights and do lots of sprints and shuttle runs to build more quickness. Your squat is decent, but your bench is lacking. Start taking a whey protein supplement and creatine and drink tons of water.

You can try but you are going to have to work really hard. You are going to need to have a lot of speed, learn how to lead block, learn how to take a handoff and catch a pass out of the backfield well. Personally I would just concentrate on getting better on the O or D line because you need to have a lot of experience in football to play a skill position.

depending on the type of offense you'll play in you might have pass-catching or ballcarrying responsibilities as well
