I've had many situations to be angry over in my life, but I've recently let a small one take over me. I've never been so angry and I can't figure out how to get over it. Any suggestions?

Why not write down the event that caused your anger and your feelings regarding it. After writing, maybe you will be able to see things more clearly, forgive, and move on.

I used to take my anger out on myself... I would cut myself or punch things until one day I cut a little too deep and also ended up breaking my hand... I've learned to just let things roll off my back now... I remove myself from the situation like go to another room or go take a walk around the block let myself calm down before I let it get out of hand... it's taken me awhile to learn to do this and it's not always easy but it's alot better than my alternate methods I used to use to cope with anger and stress...

Despite the cruel & uncalled for comment Clarissa made about your b/f, I think he looks handsome from what I can see. You need to talk to a therapist who will help get to the root of this anger that has taken over your life. I don't need to tell you that being that angry affects you physically as well as mentally. Please, seek some help & get back on track again, or you'll end up a very bitter person & life is way too short for that. Good luck!!!

Ask yourself if what you are angry about is worth getting an ulcer or depression. It depends on why you are anger. Sometimes you should be anger and express your anger. Be calm and let the other person get the ulcer.

I find the source of the anger and eliminate it. Or else I'll take a fistful of Valium

You will have to find a peaceful resolution. That's the only answer I can think of. Nothing is worth it.
