the 2-2-1 and 1-2-2 presses are different; the 2-2-1 has two players play right underneath the basket, but no one is on the inbound man directly; then two guys play at about the 3-point line, and one guy is deep as a safety valve...in the 1-2-2, one guy plays the inbound man, two play at the 3-point line, and 2 guys play at halfcourt with no deep man
