Suddenly there are blue/yellow bars of color going down my monitor. If I turn open a window and move it, the colors smear across the screen! Happened months ago for a few weeks and dissapeared. Now it is back, is it the monitor or graphics card? How do I find out? Also, now, when I open a video, the picture is fuzzy, grainy so I was thinking graphics card? Or.......

check the resolution of the video card make sure its not to high then make sure the monitor's setting in Hertz (Hz) isnt to high. 60hz to 70hz most likely.

Hi

Well you were right , it could be the graphic card , but i dont think so , cause it is giving video . Ok when you turn off the pc does the blue/yellow thingy appears too ??? In other words , when you start your pc does the monitor STILL has the lines .cause if it does THEN its the monitor , now if the lines DO NOT APPEAR when you first turn on the pc im sorry to say but yea it could be the video card. Have you tried the monitor in another pc ??/

Hi. Easiest thing to check is the cable connections at the PC and at the monitor.
