3 months ago I cheated. I had sex but it was protected. Now I keep worrying that I could be pregnant. I've had my period for the past 3 months, a little late, but still normal and I've taken two home preg tests and they have both been negative. One as taken a week after it happened and the other a week ago. Could it be possible to still be pregnant? I think I'm just obsessing over this worst case scenerio becos of what I did. I told my b/f and he accepted my apology but I still feel guilty. What should I do?

No, you absolutely are not pregnant from that sexual encounter 3 months ago. The pregancy test is a better test the longer a woman is pregnant. While it probably would have missed a pregnancy when you tested first, it would have picked it up the second time. The pregnancy test picks up very small amounts of a hormone (B-hcg) that a placenta makes. As a baby grows inside, the placenta exponentially starts to make the stuff. At three months, it would be very positive.

On a different note, I'd head to your ob/gyn for an evaluation for any sexually transmitted diseases. These would not be detected by the pregnancy test and might not even be symptomatic. Left untreated, they could impact your future ability to have children. While I don't want to worry you, I want you to be safe.

Good luck

Your worrying yourself to the point that it will make your period late. Quit stressing out you have took 2 pregency tests, And you have already admitted it to your b/f. Relax you will be fine.
