I am amused how we consider this child to be a "miracle", but do the woman who dispose of their "fetuses" for the sake of convenience feel the same way? Looking at body parts in a stainless steel bucket, in little pieces?

Can you imagine...about 50,000,000 miracles at the bottom of America's landfills...since 1973.

I sometimes wonder about "laws" and "rights". It was once my right in this country to own slaves...is this a moral issue? A cultural issue? Are man's laws a guide or a moral compass?

Dude, if you can afford to support the babies that some women can not afford to have due to many circumsatance that you know nothing of, than please feel free to offer to pay for the hospital bills, the raising of the child and other expenses. Until you have walked the mile that many women have walked don't lay your crap on them. Most women do not abort their babies for convenience, to think so is just plain stupid and ignorrant. Besides how would you like it if the government started telling you what you could do or not do with your body. Better yet why do't we have ads for male concraceptives, why don't men take responsibility for their 50% contribution to making babies, is our society afraid of messing with men's hormones but not women's. Seems a little one sided to me. Make it all the womans responsibilty or fault. I think we need to start teaching young men to keep their dang organ in their pants where it belongs and start giving them oral contraceptives at 14 to 15 years of age as well. Sounds fair to me.

The miracles are the women who keep their child despite the hardships and make it. How about giving them a round of praise. Or how about getting the system changed to prevent women who abuse the system from either having multiple abortions or multipe births and burden the rest of soceity because they can't pick themselves up and do better. Would it be morally acceptable to sterilize a woman after x abortions or births? Would be it morally acceptable to sterilize a man for fathering x children and than not supporting them? Is it morally acceptable to kill somone who has killed several times and would probably continue to do so? What about sexual predetors, can we kill them or just give fry their brain a little?

Our laws are guides, the morale aspects vary from one society to another and from how any one person was raised verses another. In the middle East is accpetable to cut off a thiefs hands, but here in the western part of the world it is not, is this morally OK, is it right, fair, just or is this just their laws or culture?. Are we westerners so far above them that we have the right to judge them or how they live and practice their forms of justice? Oh and I love how you put it ...."mans" laws, what about women's laws? Is there a differnece? Are we all not humans? Do the laws we have not apply to both men and women?

because of the fact all people is conscious that a fetus isn't alive till the left says that's. that's probably going a mass of ineffective cells growing to be and forming till it pops out of a woman and miraculously is ALIVE. /sarcasm For each and all of the folk who declare professional existence human beings do no longer care approximately an undesirable infant, I say you're one step remote from executing homeless human beings, old human beings, or the different undesirable individual. I raised 3 foster babies and an observed son. What have you ever executed to help?
