I have read that when the ship builders ran out of ships to use they used: a piece of Bubble gum, a tennis shoe, and other stuff.
Someone told me that you can see the shoe right after the rebels realize the shield is still up on the Death star but i cant find it.
Is it in the rebel fleet or the Imp fleet?
Can anyone send me a link with a pic of it? or can you tell me exactely where to look?
Same with the bubble gum.

Yes it's true about the tennis shoe, but I can not find it on the newer releases.. try to see a copy of original VHS movies.

C'mon, is this really true? I know George Lucas is smarter & more creative than that. I'll believe it when I see it, and even if I see it I won't believe it's real...but merely photo shopped pics.
I've seen so many makings of the film and they never mentioned such a thing.
