A very sharp reel mower thats properly lubed and in tip top shape will work only as well as the one who's pushing. A top athlete in good form might complete this endeavor.Problem is the grass will have to be cut many times each week and the mower must be resharpened and lubed between cuts. The level of dedication needed to remain sucessful will devour all of the daylight that is available. This is a fools folly for there is more to life than trying to stop the grass from growing.

Are we talking about a push type? If so, ha...ha...Good joke! If you plan on towing a reel type mower behind a tractor, it will depend on your circumstances what mower is best. Do you have a lot of trees? Pecans, and oaks both drop branches. A reel type mower can't handle those, so you have to clean your yard first. (You should anyways).
