and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:

Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

If you get concentrated cucumber juice, this will provide a temporary relief from your circles. Some other remedies are:

Cold compress - temporary

Lotion under eyes with sunscreen - every time you go outside, the sun darkens your circles even more. This will help keep them lighter.

Potato juice or paste applied daily under eyes.

Lemon and tomato juice mixture applied twice daily.

cold tea bags

ALmond oil

vitamin e oil (pure, not watered down with other oils)

Cucumber slices or Cotton dipped in rose water helps to clear this dark circle. Make sure you protect your eyes from strong sun glare by using a good pair of sun glasses. Cold tea bags ,juice of potato also helps .More details and remedies at the link below.

The best concealer in the world is Estee Lauder's Double Wear Concealer. It covers bruises, hickie, burn marks, scars, dark circles, brown sports, anything and it stays on all day. I love this stuff. You just pat it on and blend to cover, don't rub it or you will rub it off before it sets. Use with or without makeup. Nobody knows I have dark circles, that's how good it works and I have them really bad, like bruises.

do used tea bags. they work on me really well. yea cucumbers don't work squat. after you make some tea(regular tea, like Lipton or something..make sure its caffeinated) and after they have cooled down and u have squeezed the excess tea out of the bags with a spoon or something, put them on ur eyes for about 10 minutes. it may leave a lil tint to ur skin but it usually comes off when u wash ur face. hope that works.
