The muffler on my car has a lot of rust and a few holes in it. Should I replace it or just leave it alone?

depends on the car if you go to kragen and the muffler is $20 then i would replace it. If it is the $120 kind then i would wait till it sounds real bad.

carbon monoxide is a silent killer , it will leak into the car from a bad muffler , if you are suicidal , leave it , if not , replace it.

if its got holes,then its probably leaking.i would say change it.
