Well, the egyptians r the only ppl on earth who have no certain common features with regard to ethnicity, they r a mix nation.
Egypt (due to its strategic position) had been occupied by almost all other great civilisations since the collapse of its own, and the egyptian population started to mix with these civilisations ever since, but yet never acquired same features or ethnicity of the occupiers, instead, other ethnic groups melted completely in the egyptian population giving birth to the recent mixed ethnicity.
its of no surprise to see a white egyptian with face features of a black man, or a dark skinned man with very sharp greek features and blue eyes!
furthermore, two dark couples could give birth to a white baby and vice versa.
u may as well c a whole family each of its members having completely different features from each others.
there was a french artist who wrote a book about different ethnic groups and their different face features, he could set certain propotions for each ethnicity except for the egyptians cuz there is no common feature.
Bottom line, egyptians r a mixture of, pharoas, greeks, romans mediteranians,arabs, (with a very little fine additions from the british and the french)

I want to add that this genetic mixture explains why the egyptian children are stated as the smartest children till age 6!!
