I guess everyone has their own way of dressing. My husband wears them simply because they are comfortable, easy to work in, and have lots of pockets.
He sometimes wears them and puts a shirt over the top and you would think he was wearing a regular pair of jeans.
I for one like they way they look.
If they aren't popular then why do the stores still sell them?

that's a pretty simple question. They aren't popular anymore because they make girls who are top heavy look way too top heavy and girls who are flat look even flatter than normal. They tend to be worn too short so the ankles tend to show and that makes whoever wears them that way look dorky. They are like jeans with attached suspenders ( which i think is a stupid style..by the way) they make you look like a farmer version of erkel or peewie hermin! I don't think anyone wants to look like that!
So..... that's why!

Maybe they're not popular, but I work outside in New England and I love my Carhartt insulated overalls!

they were popular for like a second a yea ago, and about 10 years ago they were popular, i usd to wear them when i was younger. but yeah, overalls just arnt popular cuz times change,

there r not popular, but my sister has overalls from gucci, chanel, there are not the typical overalls they have new designs but there still overalls. im not gay, i went with her to buy some clothe, and she finded thse overalls. but i dont know how can u like overalls, i hate them, there hideous.

Fashion is a cycle, wait a while, and they might become popular again in ten to twenty years, possible never.

Because people have always looked incredibly awful in them!! They're the worst fashion design of all time (except for maybe the mumu!).

They probaly arent that popular because do u really want to wear all jeans, also they arent that fasionable i guess u could say

Probably because they aren't flattering to any body type and really don't go well with anything... And they look sortof "redneck"
