It is possible that it is wishful thinking, or you have developed an infatuation with this person. Either way, get it out in the open or out of the way before it conflicts with your work atmosphere and turns into something unhealthy.

Absolutely wishful thinking. Don't act on it. You will make a fool of yourself raving about psychic connections. You think a sexual discrimnation suit is unpleasant? Imagine being hauled to court for a mindf*ck.
