James - Only one of OSU's losses came without Oden: Wisconsin beat them with Oden and Florida beat the hell out of them with Oden.
Joe - You express amazement that people would pick UCLA over Wisconsisn? Both schools have 3 losses and UCLA plays a tougher conference sched.
Everyone who picked T A&M over UCLA - Not only does A&M have 4 losses to UCLA's 3, but one of those losses was to UCLA! Did all of you forget that?
Based on what I've seen the #1 seeds ,at this point, would be ,in no particular order: Florida, UNC, UCLA, and Wisconsin because I think they will beat OSU this weekend.

just by watching the games, i would go in this order
(1)florida...they are experienced, they know what it takes to win a championship, and they have one of the most talented teams out there
(2)unc...their youth is a concern, but i think they are the deepest and most talented team in college hoops...they are still inconsistent though, they don't show up to play every night, and when their shooters are having an off night theres no room for hansbrough and wright to do their damage inside
(3)ohio state...just barely behind unc in terms of talent, youth, and inconsistency...they have shown more than once that they can manage not to play their best and still win, but they seem to be not up to how good they can be recently, and that has to concern you come tournament time when everyone is on their game
(4)texas a&m...not a flashy team, but i think they are clearly underrated in the bottom of the top 10...they have the stingiest defense in college basketball, acie law is a playmaker and the best clutch shooter in college hoops, and they are out there having fun because they have no pressure...they're texas a&m, it's not a basketball school, so the expectations aren't as high as they are at schools like duke, unc, etc.

North Carolina would be my number 1! They are deep in talent and are an offensive juggernaut!
I would also rank Texas A&M fairly high unlike the real rankings. They are a team with one of the top defenses in the nation and their guard play is off the charts!

ohio state_they are one of the best teams in the league. all of there losses came without oden. they can bring it inside or hit the three and it is hard to stop there attack. plus they have great defense.
florida_prolly the most complete team. they also have the most size
unc_the best scoring team in the nation but they are a young team. they will ahve to mature fast to make it far in march maddness
wisconsin or ucla_if wisconsin beats ohio state sunday then they would be the last seed but if they lose i would pick ucla

What? Has UCLA not proven itself enough to everyone yet, the PAC 10 is one of the toughest confrences in the country, and they beat Texas A&M Memphis, Washington State, USC twice, and everyone else in the PAC 10. You guys are messed up.

Just by watching... it would be Florida, Wisconsin, Texas A&M, and Miami (FL) although I have seen Miami play against crappy teams... but they are the scrappiest rebounders ever... You can't go just by watching unless you have seen all the teams however. BTW I was joking about Miami... probably Butler (like I said, you can't just go by what you see! I only saw them against Purdue and Gonzaga)

I would say texas because they play together as a team, Or maybe kansas because they have all of the pieces to win a championship.
