What is the point of having a dual monitor setup? Does it allow you to have different windows open on different screens, or does it have the same image on each screen?

Hi. Better than that, it allows you to watch a DVD on one while working on the other. They can be configured as one extensible screen so you can drag an application from one to the other.

Yes it allows you to have different windows open on different screens. It also allows you to have the same image on each screen. You can make 2 1280 X 1024 displays appear as 1 2560 X1024 display or 1 1280 X 2048 display.

There is a function in XP that allows you to have two monitors going. This is nice because you can run your main application that you are working with, example photoshop and on the other monitor have windows media player playing a movie. It acts if you have one big monitor.
