i think it was dumb, and im glad that she is confident about her self,i dont know why people think she was fat

In this day and age when society should be screaming for a positive female role model for young girls and women, we finally have one and what happens? The media criticizes her for her body image instead of celebrating the fact that she not only tells girls that they don't have to weigh 100 lbs. to be beautiful, but she she shows them. Tyra is a beautiful woman inside and out in my opinion and we could do with more like her. Who we need to get rid of is reporters.

i thought it was dumb. people are always saying "it's what's inside that counts" and apparently they're hypocrites! i remember the news made a big deal about those Brazilian anorexic models, but now tyra banks is actually gaining weight and they're making a big deal. i'm glad that she's not another anorexic because a lot of girls look up to her.

What is it with those people On yesterday's episode of "Tyra", her mother said that Tyra was the biggest among Victoria Secrets model, yet sold the most panties.

I think it was dumb of people to say that tyra was fat. she may not be sickly thin but she's not fat. I'm glad that tyra stood up for herself and those who are not stick thin.

I definately think that people who say Tyra is fat have nothing better to do than sit on their butts and criticize people. It doesn't matter what she weighs as long as she loves herself. Our society is all kinds of messed up when it comes to womens' bodies.

i just think it was shocking to see her jiggling the way she was and that was why they were calling her fat.....i mean she's in no way fat, but she definitely has put on a few pounds since her modeling days.....its not an excuse for people saying she's fat....just a possible explanation

I think she is fine with who she is and doesn't care what the press thinks. I'm glad for that. I think it hurt her though that someone could be so cruel. I'm glad she stood up not only for herself but, for other women.
