Do you feel that cable tv is full of crap? Do you see the same old movies on and on? Are there too many commercials? What about video on demand? Same crap and not a variety of shows. I like "Bill Maher" and several others, but If cable was like the internet, you can see what you want when you want, I wouldn't have put up this question. What do you think??

Personally, I think it sucks. I have it because I have to and I resent paying for something I don't want. Not to mention it cost twice as much as satellite TV. I rarely find anything "ON Demand" Anything I'm interested in I saw a dozen times and they have marathons that are endless. Even if you like that particular show...how much of it can a person watch?. That's one channel you can eliminate for a day or two. On top of that they just raised all there fees.
Rules and laws should be changed...as long as "we" are paying our cable bill no one should have the right to tell us what we can and cannot have.

I am probably one of the only people in America who chooses not to have cable television. Yes, I can afford it. I have other luxuries; DSL, iPod, Netflix... but I refuse to pay $50 a month for 300 channels showing the same sh** over and over.
I would probably buy cable again if it didn't cost so much. It's ridiculous how much they charge and then they add on to get the movie channels which again - play the same sh** over and over. I went from having cable w/the works; all the movie channels, on demand, TiVo, etc., to not having it at all and don't miss it a bit!!!

I love cable. I live in a small town where everything closes at 8:00 pm. At least when a movie or show comes on TV my whole family can watch it. My computer screen is to small for us to watch a movie or show.

commercials are advertising, companies need to make money too. sometimes TV is The same old same old. just because you on th net no mean u can see what ever u want.
