Independents are any person and or group of people who dont fall under the major companies, political parties or social groups of the day.

It means we are tired of the crap from both parties and don't support one over the other. We independents tend to vote the person and the issues, not a party-line. Generally the independents I come across are a very skeptical bunch, and deservedly so.

We don't fall in line with either party. We agree a little here and a little there. We think, well, independently.

The way you are spelling the word leads me to believe you are asking about the political party called Independents. (They are not Demo's or Republicans.) They vote for whoever they decide on, usually depending on the person and character who is running for office.
