i started listening to this rock band 30 seconds to mars but my friends say its a girly rock band is it for both boys and girls

I would say listen to the music you like to and don't let anybody tell you different. But...30 Seconds to Mars plays Alternative Rock music, has the whole hardcore kind of/rock band look, and is for sure a band for both genders. "Girly Rock" as your friends would say would apply more to bands like The Click 5 or Cartel. But seriously, that really doesn't matter. Just listen to what you like.

Yea they're an awesome band...alot of my guy friends like them so no it's not a "girly" band lol who cares what your friends say anyway

don't let people tell you what bands are for what gender it doesn't matter 30 seconds to mars is good but if you would like a "manly" band the you would like shinedown or avenged sevenfold
