I have of couple of so-called "friends" who I suspect might be hiding things from me. Should I come clean with them and tell them to stop speaking to me b/c I know they are being fake or should I allow thwm to tell me. What is your opinion about this? What would you do?

Honestly, if i were you i'd just confront them about it. it might get messy but its better than ending a friendship over something that hasnt even happend.

They might be hiding something because they think it will hurt you and haven't figured out how to tell you yet. They may be hiding something that is none of your business (personal matters with one of their, or somebody elses life), if they may be hiding something from you they shouldn't. Any which way you can't cut them off because you "suspect" something. Talk to them about what's bugging you. Get to the root of the problem with them. If you continue to feel like things are being hid from you and have a basis for you suspicions after you've talked to them, then it's time to move on and find new friends. Give then a chance first though.

I spent too many years in High School being friends with a compulsive lier to be at all optimistic about this situation. You have to stand up for yourself because you were right when you refferred to them as "so-called friends", because if they were your friends they wouldn't lie OR keep things from you (which in my book is just as bad). I severed ties with my old friend and honestly I'm a better friend today because I won't treat someone else the way I was treated.

Well if it was me I would ask them that I know they are hiding something from me so cough it up. And if they don't well hey friends are easy to find and easy to get rid of, too. SO give them a chance and if they don't come clean forget them. But also they might be hiding something that might hurt you or maybe not hiding nothign they are just acting wierd. So go ahead and ask.

Why dont you ask them flat out why they are keeping things from you, and what it is?
If you say they are being fake, why dont you call them on it, and them put them in a corner..
If you are going to dump them as friends, at least go out getting your point across to them.

im in the same situation too! dont say anything to them, just let them be how they are, but if this keeps going on, u may want to start doing the same thing, or just leave them and hang out with other people =]

Well that depends. We are all entitled to our privacy. If you suspect your friends secrets are life threatening or will hurt someone else, then by all means, talk.

Are you just being paranoid? TRUST is number one factor in any relationship. Ponder on this, it has helped me select the right people in my circle of trust.

You need to find out what they are hiding. It is not that hard, but it can be a burden to finally see how they are feeling.

I would give them a chance to explain themselves, and then if you decide to forgive them, just be wary of them. To me, it's okay to hold grudges and remember things if they are likely to be repeated. Don't forgive them a second time.
