anybody that enters any yahoo chat room will be surprised with the huge amount of fraud seekers and unreal peopl.
why yahoo especially let its rooms like that in a very bad condition.

because Yahoo Simply does not care enough to moderate their ChatRooms.
Once a site gets huge and succesfull, they tend to overlook simple details and well, Making profit is a lot better than taking care of issues that well, are not just that important.
Yahoo Chat Rooms became all nasty and Full of Porn Bots and Hackers wannabes (the Ones that Boot people out), after MSN decided to start charging to its members for chatting on their Chatrooms..
MSN was going the same path YAHOO is. But they decided to stop it by making it a Premium Service.
So all this IDIOTS, decided to Jump to Yahoo. Since it was the best thing after MSN...
and so on ..
I started Using Yahoo Chats back in the late 90s..It was a lot better..
O well..Those were the good old days.
I made great Friends, and I am still friends with many of the chatters I met Thru Yahoo..
besides, Society Changes...We have to deal with that.

I'm not sure how they could possibly monitor the enormous amount of activity in the chat rooms.
However, after several years of hanging out (from time to time) in Yahoo chat rooms, I've also made some great friends and had great conversations.
My view is to keep it in perspective and realize that how you view "the world" is more of a reflection of yourself than what's really "out there."

i agree with u totally,its gone to hell,it used 2 be great fun but now its just women and men advertising there sex sights ,come on yahoo do something about this ,these are not real people who want 2 meet new friends and have a good chat ,there sad and lonely *** holes

Usually they are robots ... and they just spam something to attract u to their sites...Today yahoo chat rooms aren't very good place for chatting try to find other chat groups and boxes
