Good question. I had him on my fantasy team but was forced to drop him due to lack of production. His season kind of goes like this:
Groin injury in November that kept him out a week.
End of December he went on a 10 game tear (6G, 7A, +5) playing on a line with Zherdev and Fedorov. This was his only bright spot of the season.
It was all downhill after that. Fritsche moved up onto the line with Fedorov and Nash, while Zherdev went into a deep funk.
A week later Nash was hurt again, this time his back. Fedorov also was hurt. He was really clicking with Fedorov. Fedorov is playing hurt right now and Nash might be playing hurt as well and we're just not hearing about it. It could be that his groin/back are kind of nagging injuries keeping him from playing his best.
Right now he's on a line with Vyborny and Fritsche and just isn't producing. Could be he's hurt or these two can't get him the puck. For more info on his season, this has tons of articles chronicling Rick Nash on an almost daily basis:
