Last Year Georgia Tech had the highest rated play in there catcher and was said to go number one if he was a junior. So in his junior year this year will he stay as #1 or will he decline and a new star emerge???!!!

Well it really looks like this years draft is chock full of pitchers. The catcher you're referring to is Matt Wieters. And he has pretty much been rated the top prospect all year and will probably carry that into the draft.

Other top prospects are, Jake Arrieta (RHP, Texas Christian), Josh Fields (RHP, Georgia), David Price (LHP, Vanderbilt), Matt Mangini (3B, Okla. State), Andrew Brackman (RHP, NC State).

I think Matt Wieters is by far and away, the top prospect in the country, and will probably go number 1 in the draft. It's pretty hard finding a good fielding catcher with the hitting tools that he has.

As usual, the Tampa Bay Rays and the Kansas City Royals have the top two picks.

I think Tampa will pick the consensus number one, Matt Wieters of Georgia Tech. Kansas City will select the top pitcher, David Price of Vanderbilt.

Other top picks include high schoolers, pitcher Michael Maine and shortstop Justin Jackson.

He has a good chance to be the number 1 pick in the draft. The devil rays have the number 1 pick, and they want an offensive catcher. If they do not pick a catcher they will most likely pick a pitcher. If they pick an outfielder they are very retarded.

Usuall some big name pitcher but probably Matt Wieters. Writers are making him sound like a can't miss prospect.
