Yes it helps. Motion sickness comes from the brain receiving 2 conflicting messages. One sense says you are moving and and the other one says you are standing still. The middle ear senses that you are moving (the fluid in there is moving around) and your eyes, if in a situation where you can't see outside,tell you that you are not moving. If you look at the horizon, your eyes can tell you are moving in relation to the horizon. I have to sit in the front seat of the car. In really bad situations it is best to close your eyes.

I would believe so cus car sickness comes from the motion of the car and if you look at the horizon that's the only thing that seems to not be moving while your driving. kind of like the moon.
