I am 37 weeks pregnant and every time i speak to my friends and stuff, i ask them how they are and stuff and chat about un-baby related things occasionally. This girl is about 13 weeks, and its all she talks about, she has already set up her nursery has written a list of what people have to get her, blasted her mother for getting stuff from a department store, not a baby shop, and has even dictated what kind of nappies to buy her. Most of our friends are keeping a distance from her now coz they are sick of it, but i think its a hard time for her anyway and want her to realise that she is gonna lose everyone if she keeps it up, how do i tell her without hurting her?

oh yuck, that sounds very annoying! Esp with you being so far along i know i am at 37 weeks and i think i would just tell her how it is. she has a long road ahead of her and should not act the way she is acting. Maybe you can go about it in a not so obvious way by mentioning to her that she has a long time left in her pregnancy and although it tends to go by fast,it's the end that feels the longest so suggest to her that she should hold off on buying everything becuase there is lots of time. Tell her she may regret getting everything done so early. Or be upfront with her and tell her as her friend that she is being a little obnoxious. Good luck, soon enough you will be too busy with your baby to care about what she is doing!

You know as well as I do that some people get NUTS when pregnant...I think it's hormonal...was she this much of a nut before the pregnancy? If not, then just humor her until after the baby comes, and when the little guy is spitting up and pooping through all the designer cloths you can all have a good laugh!

sometimes things need to be said just not in a bad way. Let her know that everyone is excited for her but its a limit to everything. if she's a real close friend she should understand if not tell her chill out or loose out at a time when it should be happy for all of you.

Just pull her aside and tell her what you just wrote.
People can get a litte crazy when they are pregnant but it's not all the be all end all of who you are.
Maybe even film her reacting this way and let her watch herself, maybe she will be surprised at the way she has been reacting.

oh yes the prego friends. Remember you are both prego and if she enjoys it and wants to talk about it then great let her. I had lots of friends and after a baby is born the friends who don't have babies fade away. Keep your prego friend so your babies can be playmates. Congrats to you all.

Your Friend is obviosly over-excited about her pregnancy. If I were you, I'd just let it out, in a calm manner. Sit down with her, and tell her how she has been acting lately.

tell her that she aint gotta be spazzin like that cuz there aint no reason 4 it and ya'll should try 2 deal wit it bcuz wen u start havin yo mood swings people gonna feel the same about u

Record her....record your conversations...get your camera our when you guys are together....and play it back one day....ALL of IT!
If that doesn't work...call an intervention....with all your Friends...
If that doesn't work...listen to it until you get beyond fed up and tell her straight.

let her know that her baby is not developed yet and if she kept up all that up she stress herself 2 a miscarriage
