hey hunni,
listen, all those answers were good, but to sum up,
i went back to get mine touched up because the silly buggers didnt do it right, and yes they had to do it for free, i told them i would bring it further (i wouldnt have) but the LAST thing a tattoo parlour wants is bad feedback to get out, so they will do it no problam.
just when you have it done, put savlon on it....not too moch as it will over do itself...use about a pea size per 2 inches. then cover it in 2 layers of cling film....3days...perfect!!!

well i have had tattoos and my clothes have always rubbed on them and never affected the actual tattoo. a reputable tattooist would advise you on how to care for the tattoo i would advise you to put vaseline on it just twice a day. thats what i did and mine have healed great go back to the tattooist and demand he arranges some kind of refund wether that be him going over the tattoo or he gives you your cash and then you go to a tattooist that has a better reputation. x

let the puppy heal completely and if you go back and manage to get it traced or touched make sure they cover it with sterile plastic (i forgot what is called...it kinda gets taped over the chop for 3 to 4 days) in which time the inks should have flashed...
the plastic covering must be changed daily and use a cream they recommend .....also ALWAYS insist on BRAND SPANKING !!NEW!! needles ...watch them pull it out the wrapper ...make sure the ink container is empty..and or a fresh pot comes out of a fully functional autoclave ....it helps to check out an ink den before you part with your tin...do they have sterile bins ,do they wear gloves ,do they have many boxses of wipes... or one between 3 artists.....

I wouldn't bother. You can get disease from tattoos I think Hepatitis C.
Anita Ruddick has this she was on the radio the other day it is quite a bad disease & ends up killing you.
Go to the doctors instead & get tested as it can be treated if caught early enough.

My tat is also needing touched up but i have left it a bit late (7 years). I would go back in as soon as possible and address the problem but they wont touch it until its healed again.
