The Million Dollar Championship was not a sanctioned championship belt. It was a gimmick used to get over Ted DiBiase and a few other wrestlers.

The European Championship was used as an Under-Card and occasionally a Mid-Card belt to help push up and coming talent. With the brand extension, each brand got a Mid-Card and a Top-Card title, so there was no more need for an Under-Card belt like the European Championship.

The Hardcore title was droped mainly due to the waning of Hardcore matches due to their decreasing novelty and the WWE cutting back their use.

The European title was cool, but with the merging of WCW/WWE/ECW, they only had room for 2 "up and coming superstar titles", they chose Intercontinental(it's history) and the United States(we are in U.S.A.)

I honestly am shocked that WWE had threw out the Hardcore title. I have no explanation.

When Ted DiBiase retired, the Million Dollar Man gimmick was done
