Men think cars as girls. It would be non-heterosexual for men to love their cars, spend so much time and money on cars, and other obsessions if cars were thought of as males. It just makes it easier for guys to get so attached to their rides.

Most of the time men refer to their cars as girls, but most women refer to their cars as boys. I am a proud owner of 2 cars. I have a Toyota Corolla named "Taz" and a Mercury Mountaineer named, "Malachi". It's a personal decision based on how you feel driving the car, and how you feel about the car overall. Cars do have masculine or feminine personalities so why not just name them according to your own personal choice - not a big deal. Sit back and just enjoy the ride!

You mean when guys say things like "She's A Beauty". Not sure why we do that. Maybe we like to picture cars as girls because we reference that as attractive. And sometimes girls can be attractive as well as cars can be "attractive".

I have a 40 ford coupe and i baby and pamper it just like a lady friend, However it can be ornery at times and wants to give a hard time. Just like a woman. But i still love her.

I think it's for the same reason the we call the earth "mother", because she sustains us. Ships, cars, airplanes and other large machines are called 'she' because they sustain us and take care of us while they perform their duties. They also protect us.
Most of the women I know refer to their cars as 'she'.

actuallly....usually the owner likes to make it the opposite sex and it seems like everybody thinks cars are girls because usually guys are the ones in love with cars.......Get it?????
