A little bit of spitting up is normal, even for a 3 month old. If you feel its more than normal talk to your doctor, it could be reflux.

You should NEVER give your baby 'cows milk' before it is a year old. You should only be giving him either 'breast milk' or 'baby formula' at three months, and be 'just starting' him on 'baby cereal' ... rice first ... and he's still 'spitting up' because he's still a 'tiny baby' and that's what they do. He'll start 'spitting up' less and less over the next six to nine months, and actually putting him in a 'sitting up' position after he eats for about 5 minutes can help him 'stop' spitting up quite as much ... but HOLD HIM and keep him 'steady' because he's way to young to 'sit up' on his own yet.

first off, he should only be on formula or breastmilk, that's it. if you're giving him rice cereal it's too early and he's not ready for it yet. but if you are feeding him just milk, make sure you burp him good, because if you don't he will spit up. He's gonna spit up for a couple more months. But after he's fed don't bounce him around so much, let the milk settle for 20 mins and play with him. Make sure he's elevated at an angle so when he's done it can go down and stay down.

He is only 3 months old. His tiny little system is still learning what to do with the food he eats. Give him time. He will grow out of it. Breast milk, formula and water is all he needs. As long as he appears healthy, just wipe it up and consider it a part of motherhood.

He should only be having milk at this stage. when you say "eat" do you mean solids?
If so stop the solids until he is 6 months old, he is too young for it hence why he is spitting it up.
