Finally graduating and never setting foot inside those halls again.
A close second to that is going back for your reunion and realizing that all the geeks and nerds that everyone picked on now run their own companies and take voyages around the world in multi-million dollar yachts with their supermodel girlfriends and that all the jocks and punks that everyone idolized now live in filthy condemned apartments blowing their paycheck from the local bowling alley on drugs and that the cliquish girls that the guys worshiped now live with their parents and six kids working at a deli and that the shy girls that no one noticed are now creative artists and authors and musicians hosting weekly dinner parties out of their downtown high-rises.
But yea, snatching my diploma out of the principal's hand and genuinely thanking both teachers who actually cared about the quality of my education.

the overall experience is the best, yeah you remember what you learned but I can remember nearly every day from the last 4 years.

Running into friends in the "hallway's" and "P.E.", and the school dances, were all of my favorite parts, of highschool. Smile!!!
