ive played both of them and there huge damage dealers, the shaman has the totems, and the hunter a pet, i cant decide ive played them both, please help me.

Depends on what you want to play. Although I haven't played WoW in some time. You should first figure out what character class you want to play. Priests and Druids have a higher demand than say a Rogue or Warlock. I'm not sure if it is still the same but the last time I played it was hard for rogues to get groups for instances due to a lot of people want to be the high dmg dealing class and there are only so many spots for them. If you like playing in groups I suggest a healing class, if you like doing things solo the maybe druid, lock (if your good enough) or rogue. ultimately the race differences are minor when you enter in to endgame content. It's really whats pleasant on your eyes IMO. I got sick of my Troll, rerolled a Human Mage.

i agree troll shaman are better...you can heal,lay totems, and once you get a high enough lvl you can own almost everyone
