I could care less about Khali one way or the other. Is he great in the ring? No. But it's about what I'd expect from a man of his size. He's not gonna move like a cruiserweight. I don't think Big Show is that good either but when these guys get put in the ring with someone that can "work" a match it carries them to a decent looking performance. So I think the real question is what should we really expect from Khali.

Thing is....yeah, I know Khali sucks. But the kicker is, you cannot train size....or youth. Big Show was on his way out, mainly because he was getting on in years, and the injuries were piling up. And nobody seems to remember that in his early days, the Big Show rather had a shallow moveslist too (a headbutt, a chokeslam, maybe the occasional powerbomb....oh yeah, and he *fell on* people a lot).
This is one of the things WWE is infamous for doing. They hire *huge* and then train from that. Hulk Hogan was not a ring technician until his repeated matches with Andre the Giant (and an injured sternum) forced him to go slower and wrestle more than brawl. In the beginning (yes, I did see some of the early Wrestlemanias, ok?) the Hulkster was all brute force, as close to "smashmouth" as it got back then: all palm thrusts, clotheslines, body slams, legdrops and stiff kicks. Andre the Giant *Made him* learn how to wrestle.
See....they'd rather hire someone with the things you *cannot* train, like size, youth, a healthy body free of serious injury, and then train their moves and mike skills under *their* system so that they become dependent on the WWE's style of micromanaged ringside show. It keeps talent around longer that way. And it makes sense, in a cold-blooded, control-freakish sort of way...
But ye gods.....the chokebomb either needs a lot of work or something *else* to replace it with. Khali makes the Boogeyman and A-Train both look like Chris Benoit, just in terms of the quality of that choker/Baldo Bomb. Hell, Billy Kidman (a.k.a. Mr. Torrie Wilson) had a better chokebomb in his BK-Bomb than Khali does.
The dude needs a new move or three. About six months in OVW should set him a little more straight. Unless management *wants* to keep him lame (and "beatable") that is (which is likely, they did that too with the Big Show for years, until he got fed up with it).
Hope this helps. ^_^ Thanks for your time!

The Great Khali has got to be in the top 5 worst wrestlers of all time. Hes right up there with the no talent obese Umaga. There is no talent in either one of these wrestlers. Come on Khali's finisher is horrible and I mean one of Umagas' big moves i when someones head is on the bottom ropes he runs at them and he hits the middle and top ropes but its suppose to be one of the most painful moves I mean what is painful about that. These guys suck and if they end up facing each other at WM I will be one pissed off person.

Despite the fact that the Great Khali is a has poor ring skills and poor mic skills, I hear he is being offered a job as a spokes man for Ikea. Which is really weird since the Great Khali doesn't sell chairs.

He's strong and a good fighter, but he needs to work on his WRESTLING.
He needs more moves than powerslam and brainchop. All he does is walk and raise his hands, that's stupid.
He just needs to work on being more active and better moves and longer matches. He could be an Undertaker if he worked hard enough.
He needs better matches too, all he ever faces now is lightweights.
