I have using an electric trimmer/shaver for a while and although it saves a lot of time i don't think it gives better results than actually using a blade. Does shaving with a blade give better results and cleaner skin?

I think you mean an electric razor or shaver. A trimmer is more a smaller version of electric hair clippers or shears. That said, I've used both types of electric shaver, rotary and straight, and discovered tthe rotary kind worked best for me and was equally as good as a plain blade razor.

Heres a great article called "Razor VS Shaver from Myths to the Truth" It explains some strong points why the shaver is better and safer. I hope this helps.

A really good electric is much better and closer shave. It takes about 3 weeks for your skin to adjust to get the best results

you just need to take which ever one you choose to use and stick with it. if you allways use the electric one it will eventually work best for you. But if you use a blade between the blade is going to work better.
