Yes, when I was 11, I was diagnosed with Leukemia. It was a huge wake-up call for me. I just didn't appreciate life that much before that, I took it for granted. After a few years of chemo, I got better. Then the unthinkable happened: I relapsed. It was devstating, but it only made me appreciate life even more. I'm now 15, and I had a bone marrow transplant a few months ago. I'm doing great. But those events changed my life. It made me a better person.

YES! My epiphany happened when I realized that I was completely on my own on this planet. No family, no love and I have survived it all and more. Adopted at the age of 1 in 1964 a very different era, when children were not as protected as they are now. Life brought me more pain than love. Yet, through it all I have persevered. An epiphany of self-survival really hit me hard.

Yes. I went through a very dark period in my life. My best friend, my grandparents, and my surrogate father all died within the period of a week. I thought that I was on my own, and refused to cry. But one night, it was raining cats and dogs outside. For some reason I don't know, I decided to take a walk without an umbrella. Suddenly, lightning flashed, and for a few seconds, the night sky was as bright as day. For some reason, that triggered a lot of memories I had overlooked. Sitting on my grandfather's lap listening to his war stories, learning to crochet from my grandmother, smiling at Lilith while donating bone marrow for her, and learning to fight from Tao. All that time, I had focused on the bad of society. I only saw the selfishness, the utter greed. I was at the end of my rope and had all but given up.

But then the lightning lit up the darkness.

Yes, the world sucks. It'll never be easy.

But there are people who make it worth living. There are people who can see the good in any situation, who will never, NEVER quit. And if I strive to be one of those people, then my life will be a success, even if in the end I fail.

(sigh) That's what I'm striving for. That epiphany that changes everything. That moment when I can find peace. Hopefully before the end of this year, I will be able to answer this question with a "Yes."

Yep all of us do - Its a reminiscence relapse or malfunction in the frontal lobes and association aspects of the techniques the place the techniques gets stimulus from those areas whilst in a undeniable section, making the techniques think of that it fairly is been there previously. Its a humorous theory and spectacular how convincing a malfunction like it fairly is. you will possibly under no circumstances of incredibly dreamed relating to the area previously - its in simple terms the stimulus from the reminiscence aspects of the techniques convince the unsleeping techniques which you have been there previously. We sense it extra in our youthful years as our frontal lobe developes and our reminiscence undergoes a level of lowering how a lot it takes in from its environment, that could set off activities and malfunctions like deja vu to take place.

I have. It was the most wonderful experience for me. I was in an abusive relationship. I was the one who ended up in jail for defending myself. That changed my world. Not only did it help me see what I want out of this life, It helped me see who I am and what I have to offer this world and how to love myself. It was the devasting moment in my life, but had the best outcome for me and I am thankful for it.

I HAD BEEN MEDITATING FOR ABOUT 28 YEARS AND JUST DOING WHAT MY TEACHER TOLD ME THEN, ONE DAY I HAD A VERY PRESSING DESIRE TO BE ENLIGHTENED.
JUST THEN, I KNEW OF PEOPLE WHO TAUGHT ME STUFF THAT CONTRIBUTED TO REACHING MY GOAL, THEN ONE DAY I WAS MEDITATING AND SUDDENLY THE SOUND I WAS MEDITATING BECAME THE ONE SOUND IN THE WHOLE UNIVERSE, THE RUSTLING OF THE WIND, THE FLOW OF WATER, THE SOUND OF THE BIRDS...AND FROM WITHIN MY BODY CAME THE SOUND!!! I FELT THE ENERGY CREATING THE UNIVERSAL SOUND FROM WITHIN ME PRESENT IN EVERYTHING, MY THOUGHTS, MY ACTIONS ...THEN I KNEW WHAT AND WHY EVERYTHING IS.
CONTENTMENT AND BLISS FILLED MY SENSES AND FROM THEN ON, NOTHING WAS THE SAME...
