I do think so to tell you the truth. Yeah, because it talks about how young girls are having babies and can't afford abortions and how they are sleeping with people who are 16. I guess so. Yeah, it does.

Not sure where you live, but I do believe that the song does reflect what our young people are dealing with on a daily basis. I am a teacher and see these real life issues everyday in my classroom. Of 175 students that I teach, perhaps 20% of them have both father and mother in the home. The parents struggle daily to try and keep their children housed, and fed and in an environment that is safe. I like the lyrics to the song, except for the last part - I would never encourage running away with any one's child. Having lived in Los Angeles for 10 years, I witnessed the young people on the streets who were afraid to go back home for many, many reasons. It 's a very sad case that our young people are living on the street because they can't or won't go home.

The societies of today? Or did you simply mean our society? In any event, looking to a pop-rapper (who isn't playing with a full deck) for useful reflections on society (or anything philisophical) would most likely prove to be a huge mistake if you seek anything deeper than 'Move *****! Get Out The Way!'...

one thing the video made me cry omg my sister introduced the song to me i fell in love and well the song is sad to say true people in our generation at such ages from about 8-17 are just like the people in runaway love. there lives are like hell and they get beaten or their parents are drug or alchohal addicts and they run off and have sex with strangers. it hasn't exactly how you say reflect the societies of today. the societies of today already are and were like that kids in camden and compton and inglewood and even in los angeles and beverly hills and even were you live (where ever that is!) have lives that are exactly like the peoples stories that are told in runaway love... well this has just proved that ludacris and mary j blige have done it again. they have made another amazing song! if you like my answer and it resolved your question please pick me as best answer! *+*
