Because some guys in a chatroom decided he was. That's where his sudden Internet popularity began. From there, it became one of those "in-jokes" that everybody was in on, like "all your base are belong to us". Just another Internet phenomenon.
I'm pretty sure he's not really the greatest human of all time, since it turns out that he's actually one of those types that argues that there's no such thing as evolution. Which, if nothing else, is a bit silly.

Because when he was a child it was unanmously decided that he was so great, he should be dipped in Invincibility Water. From then on, it was just a combination of genetics and environment that propelled him to extreme Kick-Assomeness.

in reality. I wonder how bad this fellow Truly is.I am sure he could probably kick my aress.BUT i would give him a good fight.he looks pretty confident of himself.I have seen his moves, it would take him about fifteen minutes to get me.I am 6ft8"320 lbs with 16eee feet and I know karate,wrestling and boxing well enough.actually i would like to fight him just to say I did.and see how long it took him to take me.I am a man and pain doesnt bother me in the least.
