I had some bones in my foot fused, and i would not recommend fusion to anyone unless it is the last and only option. The fusion stopped the pain (which was severe), but I now have a foot that barely functions.

I've not had an ankle replacement but know about them from my work. There is no lower age limit for joint replacement in adults and for some joints if a person is having severe enough problem and the replacement will improve the quality of someone's life then a surgeon will decide to do it on someone relativvely young. The reason that surgeons prefer to do replacement surgery on someone who is older is because joint replacements have a certain lifespan after which they can begin to cause problems and need replacing. Ankle fusion is not the same as a replacement because a person who has had a replacement theoretically can have a fusion at a later date but it is unlikely that you can have a fusion and then have a replacement after. However you should be asking the surgeon this question as the surgeon is obliged to answer the totally appropriate things you want to know. The problem with asking online is unless you get feedback from a surgeon who specialises in this type of surgery, everyone will be talking out of their relatively limited experience. If you are really unhappy with your surgeon then you could talk to your GP about getting a second opinion.

I am a 38 year old man who got into a terrible car accident and i need a new knee and new hips.I don't know if you live in canada or where ever but in canada /ontario to get specific .i have to wait till i'm over 55 to get anything done because these replacements allthough great at the time they are done wear out.And in some cases like mine it can only be done once..the maximum is 2.for all joint replacements..then the other option is a pin or rod that fuses the bones together and you loose motion for the rest of your life..so if i were you i would get a second opinion and also ask how long this replacement/fusion would last. And what are the other options you will have once it needs to be redone.

I badly sprained my ankle about 3 weeks ago. I was in a hurry going down the stairs, lost my balance and landed on a bad side of my left foot, causing my left ankle to be stretched going on the inside. The first 48 hours were excruciating and the pain was un-believable. I've never had a serious ankle injury before.
So I immediately treated it using the RICE method. The following day, the bruising and swelling were so horrible. I found out that I got a second degree sprain and immediately panicked after that. I had a football game on that week and it been looking forward to it because I've been training for rt. I had teammates that had similar injuries and it took them months to fully recover, some of them stopped playing altogether. So I kinda had a short-term depression because I can't imagine myself not being able to run and play sports anymore.
Because I was so desperate to recover again, I contacted a lot of people that I know who do sports and asked them if they had similar injuries. One friend of mine, from the boy's football team in my university, told me about H.E.M. Ankle Rehab. I got a copy 4 days after I got injured. I immediately read and followed what was instructed and felt improvement on the first day. I was able to walk a bit, but I was in pain.
A couple of days after that, the swelling and bruising were subsid-ing significantly and on the fourth day, I was walking comfortably again. Although I've had felt a bit of stiffness, I continued doing what was instructed. My sister was surprised that I have recovered this fast. I told her about this book and was shocked on how effective the procedures were. I'm just so happy that this book was shared to me and how effective it is.
Heal your ankle fully & fast?

I had my first boyfriend whilst i become 12. All we did become a pop kiss. I had my first french kiss/made out whilst i become 14. I experienced oral intercourse (giving and recieving), and different actual touch whilst i become 17. I lost my virginity at 18. i don't be apologetic approximately something. I waited until eventually i become thoroughly waiting until eventually now I allowed myself to do something. I under no circumstances rushed myself, even whilst the boyfriend positioned on rigidity. mutually as I had my first boyfriend at 12, i become nowhere close to mature sufficient to deal with it. once I became 14 I felt waiting for a dating and arranged for kissing. As for going further, anybody is distinctive. you're able to attend until eventually it feels suitable for you. attempt to be waiting to have confidence your better half thoroughly in view which you would be experiencing some incredibly severe thoughts.
