I'm gonna be 19 in two day. I don't wanna live at home no more. I make a little more then $600 a month. 70 of it goes to my cell bill and it has to stay on! The rest is for whatever. So that gives me 530 but I also would need some cash for food & bills and stuff. I have no friends that I can share a place with so I would be on my own. Does anyone have any idea's on how I could pull this off or if it would even be possible? I live in P.A.

how about sharing? theres always ads in the paper for someone to split bills, rent, gas, elec, etc....you can find either male or female inquirerers and you pick out the one whom you feel you would get along with....they supply the home, you just split the costs......

Work out a budget on paper. I think you'll discover that $600 a month is just not enough. Try to find a better job, and start saving money. Figure how much it will cost you for rent, utilities, etc, and save that much every month to see if you can live without it. If you can do it for at least 3 months, then you will have enough saved to pay deposits, buy furniture, etc. when you move.

I can't see anyone living in their own apartment on $600 a month. The only thing I can suggest is renting a room in a house or find a suitable roommate.

without a roomrate you'll be broke all the time. Are you working full time or going to school? stay home, save your money.
