Living in Cambridge.

Just wondering where everyone likes to hang out, drink some beers, play some darts, watch some bands, etc.

I know there is no shortage of pubs and bars that fit the criteria, but I'm sure everyone has their favorites.

I've done the Beer Works, a few places around Cambridge and Copley.

Does anyone have a place that is a must see for a laid back night of drinks and fun? How about restaurants that are a definite must, but don't cost a small fortune to visit?

Thanks in advance for the advice.

There is an Irish pub in Davis Square, Somerville called The Burren. It is a great place with really cool people, good beer and live band on Friday and Saturday. Check it out.

There is a GREAT place to eat in the North End that is a MUST! Its called Dino's, its a small place, the food is simply amazing, and inexpensive. Not a fancy place, but what it lacks in ambiance it makes up for in food quality.

Check out the phantomgourmet @ phantomgourmet.com, and check on the hidden gems, and great 8 . There is a lot of valuable information contained in that site. (I'm not a big fan of the show, but, the info is good)

I'd say try places in Davis Square, Somerville. Johnny D's is usually a fun time. Other than that, check out Game On - it's next to Fenway and is a little expensive but is SO much fun during a game.
