if I'm just sitting down I have a burning feeling in my hand?

Type in ULNER NERVE in your search engine and see if it matches your symptoms. You can also go to a site called: WEB-MD and see if your answer lies there. If not, or even if so, go to your GP or your county health dept doctor and get an actual diagnosis. Then you 'll know what's happening, probably be able to treat it and keep it from getting worse and you'll get emotional relief just by knowing what's going on!!! BEST WISHES!

Do you lean on someting with your elbow ? If so it could be ulnar nerve compression - typical symptoms are a burning like itch and numbness over the little finger and half of the ring finger.
