I see so much more ultimate fighting type of TV shows and there are far more ultimate fighting DVDs at Blockbuster than WWE or anyone else...is pro wrestling losing out to ultimate fighting? If so, why?

it is not losing out! it is just that the ultimate fighting is a fairly new concept, and will be very popular for awhile! like other fads, it will eventually burn out! and in my opinion, A FIGHTER WILL DIE!! THE WAY THESE GUYS FIGHT! only sick, mentally retarde, violent human beings can watch such a spectacle as this new fighting crap! yes, sir, i figher will LOSE HIS LIFE!! before the people running these fights install some decent rules! in order t protect them from broken necks!if you watch these ultimate fighitng contests, then you are 1. violent 2 sick morally 3 a pansy wannabe! 4 a perso nwho has no life!! 5 a SICKO WHO GETS JOLLIES WATCHING OTHERS BEAT EACH OTHER TO DEATH!

Yes. People are sick of watching bad actors doing pretend sissy fights. Mixed martial arts organizations like UFC and PRIDE are the wave of the future and they're going to destroy boxing and fake "wrestling".

on payper view yes its catching up to the wwe. the last fight with chuck ladel vc tito ortis sold alot on payper view. and its not going to die soon. it growing more and more. it alot of training to be in there and be able to really defend ur self. unlike wwe when someone has a rear naked choke on u u can baciscally got out of it. in ufc if someone has that rear naked choke on u baciscally ur day is done.

I like UFC but numbers don't lie and they are not close to the WWE as far as fan support and finances.
